Role Description

The Affiliate Marketing Manager will lead the growth of strategic affiliate partnerships across key verticals - Finance, Insurance, and E-commerce - working directly with a portfolio of blue-chip brands and high-growth companies. This high-impact role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who thrives at the intersection of data, partnerships, and performance.


You will own the end-to-end management of the affiliate channel, from partner acquisition and activation to campaign optimization, compliance, and reporting. The role places strong emphasis on building and executing a comprehensive marketing plan to expand and empower ReturnX’s internal affiliate network - through targeted enablement initiatives, performance acceleration programs, and strategic support that drive both scale and measurable results.


This is a remote-first role with occasional in-office collaboration, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while staying connected to a fast-paced, results-oriented team shaping the future of performance marketing.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (BCom in Marketing preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, brand partnerships, or performance marketing
  • Demonstrated success growing and managing large-scale affiliate programs, ideally in finance, insurance, or e-commerce verticals
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from campaign data
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, design, and analytics teams
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in marketing, especially in financial services sectors


Core Responsibilities
Affiliate Channel Management

  • Design, launch, and scale a holistic affiliate strategy to drive lead acquisition and revenue growth
  • Manage the full affiliate lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, engagement, optimization, and retention
  • Align affiliate efforts with broader company growth goals and performance targets


Affiliate Recruitment & Development

  • Proactively recruit top-tier affiliates, influencers, and publishers in target verticals
  • Lead the development of Marketing Development Programs (MDPs) to provide partners with tools, content, and performance incentives
  • Segment partners by potential and vertical focus to deliver personalized support and guidance


Program Optimization & Analytics

  • Monitor KPIs such as EPC, ROI, LTV, and traffic quality to ensure performance standards
  • Run A/B tests on creatives and landing pages to improve affiliate-driven conversion rates
  • Report key findings and growth opportunities to internal stakeholders regularly


Tools & Platform Oversight

  • Manage the affiliate tech stack, including ownership of Tune (formerly HasOffers)
  • Ensure tracking accuracy and proper data flow through postbacks, pixels, and analytics integrations
  • Integrate affiliate systems with internal CRM, BI, and campaign tools


Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Enforce affiliate compliance with brand standards, advertising guidelines, and industry regulations
  • Monitor for fraud, low-quality traffic, and policy violations; coordinate remediation with legal and compliance teams
  • Uphold ReturnX’s reputation through ethical and transparent affiliate practices


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams across Performance Marketing, Product, Legal, Design, Sales, and Analytics
  • Align campaign creatives and messaging with business objectives and seasonal strategies
  • Collaborate on testing, reporting, and resource planning to elevate affiliate channel performance

  • Revenue Contribution from Affiliate Channel
  • Affiliate Channel ROI and Net Margin
  • Lead Quality or Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
  • Number of Active Affiliates (Monthly/Quarterly)
  • Growth & Engagement through Marketing Development Programs
