Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review user-generated content on various platforms, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and policies.
  • Detect and remove spam, abusive language, and any inappropriate content.
  • Apply content moderation standards consistently across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve content filtering processes.
  • Escalate more complex or sensitive content issues to the senior team for further action.
  • Respond promptly to flagged content and resolve it according to internal guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of content moderation best practices and legal requirements.
  • Track and report trends in content violations to assist in refining spam filters and content guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Communications, Media, or a related field is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to identify problematic content quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with digital platforms and social media.
  • Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and online community guidelines.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and social media trends is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of privacy laws and ethical considerations in content moderation.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in content moderation, community management, or online customer support is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with spam filtering tools and content management systems is a plus.
  • A keen understanding of internet culture, social media, and online community dynamics.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).
  • Flexible working hours; however, coverage during peak hours is required.
