Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
Florida EMT license
Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC) - certification training must be kept properly up to date
American Heart Association BLS - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
Active and valid State of Florida driver’s license with an approved driving record pursuant to our policy and maintained throughout employment.
Minimum 1 year of driving an emergency vehicle required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Current United States passport is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year EMT experience preferred
Training such as paramedic and/or medical corps preferred.
Encourage to obtain IAMTCS Certified Flight Communicator (CFC) within 18 months of hire
Ability to communicate verbally in writing.
Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Able to give and receive critical information accurately.
Able to multitask situations.
Comprehensive knowledge of communication equipment and technology.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to interpret, adapt and react calmly under stressful conditions.

Able to work up to a 20 hour shift as needed for 24 hour coverage.
