IT Manager

WESTAFF is hiring an IT Manager for a company located in Lafayette, LA

Pay: $95-120K annually

Hours: Monday- Friday

            8am- 5pm

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field 
• Experience in IT, with a background in roles such as Network Administrator, Systems Analyst, or IT Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
• Excellent managerial and communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee IT Operations: Manage the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring that all systems are functional and secure.
• Team Management: Lead and develop a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals.
• Budget Management: Manage the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues within the organization.
• Security Oversight: Ensure the security of the organization's data and IT infrastructure, implementing necessary security measures and protocols.
