Summary
Growing IT Business is looking for a new full-time System/Network Administrator. The candidate should convey a strong dedication to quality customer service, excellent follow-through, attention to detail, and work well both independently and cooperatively. The focus of this position is to implement new technology for clients and provide escalation support for internal IT Technicians.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
-Implementation and support of server and network solutions.
-Implementation and administration of Microsoft related services: AD, DNS, DHCP, file & print services, Office 365, and SQL.
-Implementation and support for virtualization technologies including Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware.
-Implementation and support of network technologies: WAN/LAN connectivity, firewalls, routers, switches, wireless, and general security.
-Implementation and support for hosted and cloud solutions.
-Understanding of Healthcare IT and HIPAA Compliance
- Implementation of Cisco Routers, Catalyst, Nexus and Meraki networking equipment
-Implementation and support secure remote access solutions: VDI, terminal services, and VPN
-Implementation and support of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
-Display a strong dedication to quality customer service, excellent follow through, attention to detail.
-Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
-Communication with clients and coworkers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, or agreed outages.
-Responsible for entering time and expenses in ticket system as they occur.

Qualifications & Required Abilities
-Vocational IT school and/or Associates/bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or a related field
-5+ years of IT experience
-Professional IT Certifications:
Microsoft MCSA
Microsoft MCSE
Cisco CCNA
Cisco CCNP
VMware VCP
-Superior telephone and in-person etiquette and the ability to deal effectively with end-users, peers, vendors, and management, even under stressful conditions.
-The ability to organize and prioritize several projects and tasks at one time
-Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
-Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
-Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
-Thorough understanding of service administration and security concepts.
-Thorough understanding of server systems, virtualization, Active Directory.
-Thorough understanding of networking concepts including routing, switching, and firewall security
