<span><p>Project Manager Ship Repair Division, Richards Bay </p><p>We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with strong technical and leadership skills to manage and drive project performance, ensure operational excellence, and deliver value to both clients and stakeholders. </p><p>Requirements </p><ul><li>Relevant Technical Qualification</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a Supervisory or Project Management role within the Ship Repair industry</li><li>Willingness to travel locally and offshore at short notice</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>High commitment to Customer Service Excellence</li><li>Proficiency and working knowledge of IACS Regulations</li><li>Strong organisational, coordination, and negotiation skills</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities<br>The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (but not limited to): </p><p>Project Planning & Execution: </p><ul><li>Analyse project scope and ensure all work meets contractual obligations, quality requirements, and safety standards.</li></ul><p>Client & Stakeholder Communication: </p><ul><li>Record, manage, and communicate all client specifications to relevant teams.</li></ul><p>Timeline & Cost Control: </p><ul><li>Monitor and manage project timelines, cost-effectiveness, and deliverables using ERP-based scheduling and cost control systems.</li></ul><p>Cross-functional Coordination: </p><ul><li>Collaborate with internal departments and subcontractors to align project milestones with execution plans.</li></ul><p>Invoicing & Compliance: </p><ul><li>Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and strict adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><p>Project Estimation & Business Development: </p><ul><li>Oversee and support estimation processes, pursue new business opportunities, and participate in tendering activities.</li></ul><p>Client Relations: </p><ul><li>Build and maintain positive relationships with local Port Authorities, Clients, and Agents.</li></ul><p>Operational Oversight: </p><ul><li>Manage branch stock and assets, and report on work-in-progress and overall branch performance</li></ul><p>Ideal Candidate Profile<br>We are looking for someone who is results-driven, highly organized, and capable of managing complex projects with precision.
