As a Senior Technician or Technologist in Clinical Pathology at Ampath, you are at the heart of diagnostic excellence. Your role is to perform routine and urgent sample analyses, ensuring accuracy and reliability in every result. Requirements
Role Requirements
To thrive in this role, you are required to hold:
- a National Certificate in Medical Technology (Clinical Pathology) with HPCSA registration as a Medical Technician, or
- a National Diploma in Medical Technology and HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist.
These qualifications ensure you are equipped with the foundational knowledge and professional standing to deliver confidently in a dynamic laboratory environment. You bring 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a similar pathology environment. This experience enables you to navigate the laboratory with confidence, contribute meaningfully from day one, and grow within a culture that values continuous learning and leadership accountability.
Skills Requirements

You are fluent in English and Afrikaans, both written and spoken, and possess basic typing and computer literacy to manage digital workflows efficiently.
