Position Information</p>
<p>The TxDOT Support Services Division is seeking a highly skilled individual for a Project and Client Support Services Coordinator position in the Digital Print Center. This role includes managing complex projects in the office and in the field, researching and driving new technologies, and developing current and new customer relationships. This individual will oversee strategic projects that enhance digital print workflows, improve operational efficiency, and support continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a strong knowledge of digital print technologies, a passion for leading cross-functional efforts, and demonstrate client-building skills. Key responsibilities of this role are leading peer training initiatives, introducing new technologies, and optimizing workflows.</p>

<p>Position Description</p>
<p>Performs advanced professional, administrative and/or consultative work in support of a program or project. Facilitates the planning, development, and implementation of goals, objectives, guidelines, procedures, schedules, priorities and/or methods for achieving program or project goals. Work requires extensive contact with department management, and external governmental agencies and organizations. Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product.</p>
<p>Essential Duties:</p>
<p>Represents the Department and participates on interagency groups, technical committees or special task force groups.<br />
Determines trends and prepares administrative reports, studies and specialized research projects.<br />
Develops and implements effective techniques for evaluating agency programs.<br />
Evaluates, develops and interprets policies/procedures.<br />
Oversees planning, preparation and coordination of special meetings, workshops and conferences.<br />
Oversees strategic long- and short-range planning or modeling activities.<br />
Researches and develops programs, projects, activities or procedures.<br />
Conducts program or project analyses and develops and recommends solutions/methods to increase productivity/efficiency and streamline operations<br />
Analyzes policies and operations, identifies strategies to make improvements, and facilitates collaboration among different groups to resolve issues.<br />
Develops contract requirements or specifications in support of programs or projects.<br />
Evaluates statistical data and interprets results; prepares reports on program and/or project activities.<br />
Performs budget-related review, planning and development activities.<br />
Performs site visits to provide staff assistance or in support of various management issues<br />
Prepares and presents information on various programs, projects and activities to executives, departmental staff and/or at professional meetings, seminars and conferences.<br />
Prepares sensitive and high-level correspondence and administrative or technical reports.<br />
Provides training or technical support and assistance in program or project areas.<br />
Serves as point of contact and/or liaison for programs or special projects with other departmental staff, governmental entities and/or the public.<br />
Serves as safety officer, hazardous materials monitor and/or public affairs officer.<br />
Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.</p>
<p>Minimum Qualifications:</p>
<p>Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, public administration, or a related discipline. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications</p>
<p>Experience: 4 years business analysis, project or program administration, or related experience. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.</p>
<p>Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.</p>
<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>
<p>Preferred experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel</p>
